Responsible Use & Consent
A tattoo is a permanent decision. These are the standards we hold ourselves — and you — to.
Informed Consent
Before any ink touches skin, we review the final design together, confirm placement, discuss pain management, and sign a consent form. You may pause or stop the session at any point for any reason.
Age Verification
We tattoo adults only (18+). Valid government-issued photo ID is required and checked at every first session — no exceptions, no parental overrides.
Sobriety Requirement
Clients must be sober for their session. Alcohol thins the blood and affects judgment; both compromise the quality and safety of the tattoo. If you arrive impaired, your session will be rescheduled and your deposit forfeited.
Health Disclosure
You're required to disclose pregnancy, blood disorders, diabetes, skin conditions, active infections, heart conditions, and medications affecting healing. This information is confidential and used only to keep you safe.
What We Won't Tattoo
We decline work that is hateful, promotes harm, copies another artist's signature work, or is requested impulsively under emotional distress. We may suggest a cooling-off period for major pieces.
Mental Health & Body Autonomy
Your tattoo is yours. We honour that. But we also believe care includes honest conversation — and we'll check in if a session seems to be driven by a crisis rather than a considered choice.
Sterile Practice
Single-use needles and cartridges. Autoclave-sterilised equipment. Disposable barriers on every surface. Our sterilisation logs are available for review.
